Val is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities are able to
access information on this website as easily as possible.
In particular, we have designed the site so that:
- all pages validate as HTML 4.01 Transitional and the related Cascading Style Sheets have also been validated
- style sheets are used for visual layout. If your browser or browsing device does not support style sheets at all, the content of each page is still accessible
- all content images are assigned descriptive alt tags
- there is sufficient colour contrast between the text and background and colour alone is not used to convey information
